Once in a while you hear a singer and you know. Here is something special. Years ago I saw a young Marcus Haddock and I knew he was eventually headed for the Met.
Xoxi Mendez is one of those special performers. She is at home with Mozart as she is with popular song. She can sing in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Persian! and did just that at ther "ENCHANTED NIGHTS" concert this last weekend and she sings it all with palpable joy.
She radiates delight and her vocal abilities are astonishing for someone so young. All I can say is catch her next concert. This is one singer who's going places!
